Goal setting is important. What are your goals? Complete the following goal setting activities.
Remember that goals are more likely to be achieved if they are written down and are SMART. Setting short term goals, developing strategies and actions to achieve them and rewarding yourself when you do will also assist you to achieve your long term goals.

Activity 1: Complete the SMART Goal Worksheet for 1 Personal and 1 Academic/Learning goal you want to achieve this semester. Remember you need to plan how you will achieve your goal (what actions will you take to achieve your goal). These short-term goals should be Specific; Measurable; Achievable; Relevant and have a Time frame. The actions you will take and the strategies you will use to achieve these goals form your plan. Remember: A goal without a plan is destined to fail.

Activity 2: Complete the Long-term goal setting task in class and then for homework, discuss your long term goals with a parent/caregiver. Record their responses, then upload this to your PLP portfolio.
