The Round Table Presentation will occur in Weeks 7 and 8 of Term 2.
Your parents/caregivers will be sent an email invitation to attend your Round Table Presentation with a code to choose a time through the PTO Booking System. If your parents/caregivers do not have email please let your teacher know so that we can get a code to them.
This Task requires students to review what they have learned throughout PLP; goals they have set; how they have developed their capability (or capabilities); the impact of their Work Experience; the subjects they are choosing and the career pathway they plan to take (if they know it). During the Career Pathways section, students will have researched a number of career pathways looking at the SATAC Guide and the UAHS Curriculum Guide to see what subjects are required to enter that profession; they will have had a discussion with their teacher and parents about subject selections for Year 11, and they will have made their preliminary selections. Through the Round Table Presentation they will be able to consolidate those choices, in preparation for making final choices when the Web Preferences open.
Your teacher and your parents/caregivers would expect that you have some ideas of a future pathway by the time you complete PLP, but remember this is not set in stone, it is just meant to give you some direction when choosing subjects for Year 11 and 12.

The Round Table Presentation will consist of a 10 minute oral Powerpoint or similar media presentation with discussion reviewing learning in PLP. Students will have a maximum of 10 slides (not including the title slide) to complete this task. The title slide will have the student's name and SACE ID number on it. A template is provided to assist students with planning their presentation. Students will work with their PLP teacher to ensure that they have included all the required elements in their plan before you begin building their presentation.
Once the powerpoint and speech are complete and polished, it is a good idea to practice, practice, practice to ensure that the presentation runs smoothly.
Like the Mock Interview students will be expected to attend their Round Table Presentation at the time selected by them and their parents/caregivers unless they have negotiated a different time with their teacher beforehand.
